Hawker Beechcraft & Mach Aviation Piston Demo Tour July 2011

The much anticipated Piston Tour of the Hawker Beechcraft Baron and Bonanza aircraft took place in June this year, and it certainly was not a disappointment!  Pilots and enthusiasts alike from flying clubs around the Isle of Man, Jersey, Ireland and Northern Ireland watched with great anticipation as these superior aircraft came into land, in what can only be described as the perfect flying conditions, blue skies and light winds.

Once on the ground, it was clear for all to see that Hawker Beechcraft really do have the finest finished aircraft ever produced and just why they are the standard by which all other piston engine aircraft are compared.  With its double utility doors, club seating and ‘cabin class’ environment and best layout panel in general aviation, the Baron G58 makes the perfect vehicle for that family get away. The Baron appeared to be of great interest to the flying schools as well as owners that had further to travel with their families and who were more focused on IFR flying.  The Bonanza appealed more to the private owner/flyer who wanted quality of finish for friends and family to enjoy, as well as being able to fly in one of the most advanced cockpits on the market today.
